What is water tunnel 3?

Born beneath fluorescent lights, Water Tunnel 3 originally started as a Daytime Pravda, a t-shirt-making operation the locals couldn’t save (Instagram shut down the account after discovering a certain unnamed rodent design). After a quick rebrand and a lesson in screenprinting, Water Tunnel 3 ascended.

Named after the lyric in The Surfer by Vampire Weekend, as well as the inspiration for their OGWAU Tour stage design and an actual never-ending NYC tunnel project, Water Tunnel 3 specializes in merchandise inspired by states, countries, places, roadside attractions, and travel & water themes. Shirts are screenprinted by hand in my basement, and stickers are made by hand with water-resistent materials.
